Corporate Payroll & Benefits Administrator

Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking, experienced professional to provide support in the Human Resources Department at RAM Enterprise, Inc. located in Elko, Nevada. Join a rapidly growing company as the Corporate Payroll & Benefits Administrator to manage corporate payroll and benefits functions, and provide HR support. A willingness to execute basic administrative tasks and to work closely with management is required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
PAYROLL
- Coordinate closely with team members from all facilities to ensure accurate and timely collection of timekeeping information
- Upload timekeeping data to payroll system
- Collect and enter bonus and commission calculations from Accounting
- Update personnel information as necessary
- Enter new employee information and terminate employees in the system
- Distribute payroll to all facilities according to payroll schedule
- Process and distribute final paychecks
- Respond to garnishments & calculate deductions for payroll
- Manage post-payroll reports
- Provide reports to executives and accounting as needed
BENEFITS
- Enroll employees in company sponsored insurance plans, & terminate employee’s enrollment from insurance as necessary
- Reconcile benefits invoices monthly
- Manage COBRA process and enrollees
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Process incoming employment verifications
- Interact with all company personnel in a pleasant, helpful and courteous manner
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Draft memos and other company wide correspondence as necessary
- Process pre-employment background checks
- Respond to employee questions/concerns
Requirements:
- 2-4 years prior experience with multi-state payroll administration
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and open attitude with strong analytical skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be organized and self directed, working with little or no supervision
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance
- Comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
