Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking, experienced professional to serve as our Accounts Receivable Billing Clerk with RAM Enterprise, Inc. This position is an hourly, non-exempt position, located in the Elko service center, and will provide support to our Accounting Department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Promote safety as the company’s number one priority
  • Support, promote, and participate in the PDQ (People Determine Quality) and SPADE (Safe People Always Determine Excellence) programs
  • Must maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and company information
  • Daily recording of information from job cards into worksheets for billing and costing
  • Submit invoices on customer proprietary accounting systems
  • Work with RAM Team Members and Customers to resolve any discrepancies
  • Scanning and sorting of completed job packets into job folders
  • Accounting policy compliance
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
  • Must provide support to various departments by tracking various data in excel spreadsheets and providing backup for other team members
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • 2+ years of Accounting education preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Ability to work in a fast paces, dynamic environment, while prioritizing project and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent team player with a flexible and open attitude
  • Professional level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand, read, and write the English language.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with analytical ability
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance
  • Excellent computer skills: Excel and major accounting software (SAGE100 preferred), including typing and 10-key by touch
  • Flexible to handle administrative tasks such as answering phones
  • Working conditions are standard for an office environment
  • Ability to comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook

Work Environment:

  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
  • Regular office environment expectations
    • Sitting at least 80% – Standing, walking, and bending at least 10%
