Outside Product Sales – Salt Lake City, UT

Job Summary: We are seeking a hardworking, experienced professional to serve as an Outside Product Sales Representative for the Utah Service Center. This position will cover the Utah area, Southern Idaho, Southwest Wyoming, and areas of Colorado.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
- Fully understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Clearly and effectively communicate with staff members and customers
- General understanding of the product lines that we promote and the ability to communicate to customers the features and benefits of each
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest development
- Basic knowledge in the following software programs: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Obtain quotes from vendors and have strong negotiation skills
- Work independently with little supervision
- Compose internal documentation and work closely with Customer Service Department on generation of quotations
- Effectively manage multiple open quotations and bring them to order status
- Have a clear understanding of profit margins and how they affect the company
- Participate in annual budget process, including forecasting by product and by customer
- Work with marketing department to develop strategies and to give input on product/service features and benefits
- Compile activity reports for management describing all customer contacts
- Effectively resolve customer service issues
- Ability to safely lift 75-100 pounds
- Ability to obtain access to all regional customer properties
- Deliver products to customers
- Other job duties as assigned by management
